From the historical city center of Arezzo, in Tuscany, you will across the Chiana Valley until Castiglione del Lago, near the Trasimeno lake. Castiglione is the “door of Umbria” to visit Perugia, Assisi and Spoleto.

Day 1 Arezzo
Independent travel and arrival to Arezzo. Meeting point with company for description tour, organization and to take the bikes.

Day 2 From Arezzo- to Castiglione del Lago across the Canale della Chiana
Cycling along the Canale Maestro della Chiana…
is a journey through time and nature: you can pedal right through the
heart of the Etruscan world, across a myriad of waterways, in a land
that has been shaped by the strength of nature and by the hands of man.
The Canale Maestro della Chiana’s cycle and pedestrian path which joins
Arezzo to Chiusi. It is equipped and protected for those who wish to
travel slowly. The ancient road used for both canal and lock
maintenance is, in fact, a natural track without any height or level
differences which makes it suitable for a family sporting tourism.

Day 3 from Castiglione del Lago - to S.Biagio della Valle
After the landscape lake, yuo will go inside the umbrian countryside.

From
San Biagio della Valle to Perugia you wil go by car *because there is a
traffic. You will start cycling in the central Piazza IV Novembre,
direction Assisi!

Day 5 From Assisi-to Spello-and Bevagna
A very
easy and fantastic journey. Assisi, Spello and Bevagne are the symbol of
the art , archeology and history of Umbrian region.
Wine tasting in the vineyard and pic- nic lunch with a typical dishes.

Day 6 From Bevagna-to Spoleto
Relax
and flat route for the last day! You will cycle in the cycle and
pedestrian path which joins Bevagna to Spoleto . We recommend an
ice-cream break at the Clitunno’s spring. Very famous place!

Day 7 Departure
Meeting with company to consign the bikes.
